Although no innkeeper is mentioned in the Biblical account, the typical retelling of Jesus’ birth includes a heartless innkeeper who turns away Joseph and Mary. No Room in the Inn explores first century culture and offers a clear insight into the events surrounding the birth of Jesus. The second section of the book, Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh, examines the wise men and their gifts and their application to our lives today, with recipes cookies, bath salts, and solid perfume using frankincense and myrrh.
